Hello! Welcome to the world of Lucas Guzman, an Amsterdam-Barcelona-based Argentinian self-taught Freelance Technical Artist with a vibrant +15-year journey in digital media production. My expertise lies at the heart of real-time engines, encompassing AR, VR, the Metaverse, gaming, and digital fashion. I'm not just a GameDev and NFT artist; I'm also a speaker, researcher, and futurist with a lifelong passion for innovation.
My creative journey began in childhood, sketching comics and animating in MS-DOS. At the age of 12, I found out about 3D design with 3Dsmax 2.5.
By 17, I was hired to work remotely for an Amsterdam-based fashion company, and at 18 I presented my first big film during a fashion show in the heart of Amsterdam.
From Argentina I worked remotely on 3D printing, prototyping, showroom animations, and marketing movies, relentlessly self-educating in a landscape devoid of formal 3D animation education.
At 24, Amsterdam became my new home, furthering my journey in fashion before a pivotal transition to the gaming industry.
By 28, I started working as a freelancer creating art for indie games, which led me to be hired by Capitola Digital. There, I dived deep into marketing experiences using the latest in tech: VR games, VR for medical experiences, AR Marketing, 360 films, motion capture, photogrammetry and 3D printing.
2015 marks the start of my blockchain path. Humble beginnings designing for Crypto companies until eventually I was able to sell my own NFT art.
The years 2020 and 2021 were transformative for my career, as the NFT and Metaverse hype unlocked new opportunities for my passion: bridging art and technology.
In 2022, I finally received my Dutch citizenship, which marks a life changing point for me. As a Latinamerican artist with no European citizenship, having the chance to work in an advanced country as the Netherlands with a highly skilled migrant visa is one of my biggest achievements.
2023 was the year where I learned how to run and be founder of several companies. My own, LOVEKRAVT and Code Couture. All of that while working for my new base in Barcelona.

LOVEKRAVT'S WEEKLY MEETUP
During 2021 and 2022 I was the host of a weekly meetup that took place on LOVEKRAVT's Discord. We dived deep into all kinds of digital trends. From NFTs in the Metaverse to AI tools for Fashion Design.
As their host, I would lead the conversation to be about learning from each other, and to inspire one another.

I showcased several AR experiences to explore the idea of a future in which your clothes will have their Metaverse twin attached to them.
Some users chose to wear realistic fashion garments, while others preferred to be ready to explore dangerous worlds wearing metal armour.

As one of the chosen Dutch creators of tomorrow by Meta, I took part in several events that connected us with Meta partners in order to create specialized social content.
